What triggered your desire to become
a musician?
Music was a talent my teachers recognized in me from the time I started public school. I tried very hard at a few differently points to escape music, but playing and teaching always resurfaced. The list of people that I consider musical influences is quite long and varied. I simply had the most wonderful music teachers. The desire to emulate them, to carry the torch, and pass it on has been inspiring and compelling to me.

Message for the patrons of the JCSO?

My favorite part of being a member of the JCSO is being able to see the progression the orchestra has made over the years. Watching a program like ours continue to grow every cycle is very rewarding!
